Sculpture Trails Outdoor Museum located in Solsberry
Sculpture Trails Outdoor Museum, located just outside of Solsberry, features over 100 large scale sculptures from artists from around the world.
Lake Shakamak at Shakamak State Park, located just outside of Jasonville, is one of three man-made lakes on property. Fishing is a popular source of recreation at the park. The park is also a great location for camping, hiking, bicylcing and more. 

 

Carnegie Heritage and Arts Center, located in Linton, promotes the appreciation, education and participation in the visual, literary and musical arts of Greene County.
One of many birds that can be seen at Goose Pond Fish and Wildlife Area just south of Linton.
The Tulip Trestle, also known as the Viaduct, is the longest trestle in the United States and the third largest in the world. It's one of Greene County's most visited sites and it located outside of Solsberry.

 

Shakamak State Park's swimming pool, complete with two water slides and a diving board, is a popular spot during the summer months.
Richland- Plummer Creek Covered Bridge
The Richland-Plummer Creek Covered Bridge, two and a half miles outside of Bloomfield, is the county's only covered bridge.
Redbird State Recreation Area offers outdoor recration for off-road vehicles.
Hoosier Hysteria is alive and well in Indiana. Many basketball goals can be seen throughout the county with many afixed to old barns like the one pictured above. 
Greene County is proud of its rich farming and agricultural cultural. 

 

Linton is Greene County's largest community. The community hosts several events each year with the most well-known being the annual Freedom Festival, which is organized by the Linton-Stockton Chamber of Commerce. The annual Freedom Festival parade is Indiana's largest Independence Day parade. Nearly 40,000 people travel to Linton on July 4 to attend the parade.

 

Bloomfield is Greene County's second largest community and serves as the county seat. In October, hundreds of people are drawn to the community for the annual Bloomfield Apple Festival. 

 

The City of Jasonville is Greene County's third largest community. Each year, the community hosts Indiana's largest high school homecoming celebration, which includes brings hundreds of alumni to the community each year. 

 

 

The Town of Lyons is home to the annual Strawberry Festival, which is held each June. The event brings many people into the small community. Pictured above is Lyons Town Hall and the community's veteran's memorial.

 

Worthington has a nice little downtown area full of antique and specialty shops. The town hosts community wide yard sales every Labor Day weekend, bringing hundreds of visitors to the community each year.
